Park Place RV Park
On Wednesday, Nov. 12th we started the day by 7:30. I slept in until 7:15 so skipped the walk. Bill and Gibbs hopped on the golf cart and around the park they went. Gibbs was better today, sitting properly beside Daddy. 💕

Good morning! A bit blurry but cute as heck. You might have to zoom in to see them.
He had his club meeting this morning so he left after 8. I had my tea at home and after a taste of yogourt, walked over to the clubhouse at 8:45. This morning is Coffee and Conversation at the clubhouse. As soon as I walked in the office, the smell of Sue's brownies filled my senses! Oh my!

The sun has a challenge today but the cooler temperature was nice.
She was just cutting them up and the coffee pot was full of brewed coffee. It was a smaller group than usual, just Fred, Sue, Sally, Lisa and myself. Angie and Rusty had to take their rig to RV Lifestyles so were unable to attend again.

Sue bakes such delectable little snacks for Coffee Hour. These brownies - yummy!
It was a quiet morning, no calls, no check-ins so I found myself working at the puzzle. Bill and Fred moved the 2 picnic tables over to the firepit area, now that they had been resanded and painted. The group fires will begin on Friday night.
Clouds had moved in late yesterday so we missed the Aurora Borealis in the northern sky. Some campers in the area posted a few pictures but they were nothing like what my brother, in Cold Lake, Alberta, saw, Amazing, I'm envious! Maybe tonight there will be another chance to see them.

Just before lunch, Rusty and Angie returned with their 45' toy hauler. Bill and Fred did their best to get him backed into his very tight spot. In between hoses, shelters and camping accessories. After 45 minutes, it was done. I tried not to watch.

The puzzle is done
The afternoon was much like the morning so I managed to finish the puzzle by 3:15. I managed to take a booking over the phone, on my own, and found him a spot for a 4 month period. Sue said I did a good job, even though I had to call him back.

The last piece, had me guessing right up to putting it in. Can you see it? The colour is wrong.
A drop in at 3:55, just before we closed up so Bill parked him. I was grateful Sue was by my side for that one, I hope it gets easier. I took Gibbs for a walk around the park before returning home for a few chapters in my book outside in the shelter.

Lila is ready to go with a new tube. Hopefully Friday I can get her out.
Supper was leftover stew and biscuits. Just as good, just as filling. Bill loaded the dishwasher and washed the pot. We watched Survivor tonight, it's entertaining for us. The challenges never cease to amaze me.

We've all said it: Clouds really do make a picture.
We reached a high of 84F/26C today and there were many clouds. Looking out after the sun (what there was of it) set, the sky was black except for the lights over Quartzsite off to the west. No northern light sighting here.

Supper for a second night Good night
This was a good day. I hope your was just as nice. Thank you for your visit.

Bill in the golf cart with his best pal - so sweet! Good for you conquering a busy day. Dinner looked good!
ReplyDeleteCutest thing ever, two of them in the cart.
DeleteGibbs is in Heaven .... riding around with his Dad!!
ReplyDeleteYes, he now waits(not so patiently) to go in the morning.
DeleteLearning a new job is always a bit intimidating. In a few weeks I'm sure it will feel like you've been doing it forever.
ReplyDeleteI would neither want to be the person backing that trailer into the spot, nor the one directing the driver. Too big for me!
I think you're right, I'm feeling much better after a couple of days in my own. It's the only way I'll learn.
DeleteParking big trailers is not even fun to watch for me!!
Here in Northern CA the lights were pretty dim, but the camera on my Samsung S24 captured them perfectly. First time in 78 years I have been able to "see" them here. Quite the sight. If they say they are out again, try pointing your camera north after it gets dark. It might take a 2 or 3 second exposure, but you might be surprised at what you will see.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kenny D, glad you were able to see them.
DeleteYou are certainly keeping busy. The job will get easier as time goes by.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
"I tried not to watch"...that would be me. It's so cute to see Bill and Gibbs out together.
