Just Enjoying this Gorgeous Morning!

On Tuesday, Feb. 24th we were all up by 7:30. Yes, I was the last after not hearing a sound any earlier. Bill and Gibbs had been out obviously very quietly. He was washed, fed and soon ready to leave for the field. What a beauty of a morning.

Good morning!

I/we behaved last night again and avoided snacking with anything on the 'naughty' list. I did have some of my yogourt though. I was in bed at 10 after watching another movie. Movies I've not heard of and some a bit silly. I started one and abandoned it to watch My Secret Millionaire. Still silly but the star actor was pleasant enough to watch. 😅😂

After my tea, Gibbs and I ventured out for our walk and since there was no breeze at all, it was shorts and spaghetti strap weather. Gibbs walked well, the whole block but when we got home he crashed just inside our site, in the shade. He's so funny. The videos probably won't play but I'm going to try.

Next week he gets rid of a lot of shaggy hair, thank goodness!

Back at home, I sat outside with my book and quite enjoyed the peacefulness. Gibbs was happy with me for a while but soon wanted to go inside. While out there he chased the loose cat off our site. Good security dog! 

Time for a rest 

Bill and I had lunch together and tweaked our grocery list. Payday tomorrow which means our big shop day.

I played Pokeno with 8 other ladies and had a good time as usual. It's a good thing there is no alcohol involved as we can't stop laughing a lot of the time as it is. 😂 We all went up and down with our pennies and I don't think anyone went home broke. 

Continuing with the pretty sky

The heat is on here in Quartzsite, with a high today of 87F/27.5C. The sky is clear with the odd skiffs here and there. You can tell March is around the corner, this is typical, as are the winds that usually accompany the heat near the end of next month.

New quilling tools
Fun!

Bill picked up our parcel from Ironwood Outpost and he got his case of socket drivers and I received more quilling supplies. Yay! These should be fun, a crimper and some paper strips for more decorative creations. 

Supper was an 
'out of my head' recipe.

At 5, we closed windows and put the a/c on. We are going to need it for a while. Especially Gibbs. 💕 For supper, I had ground beef out to thaw so threw together something to eat with some leftovers we have. Bill finished the fried mashed potatoes, I finished the keto spaghetti and it was very filling.

When I walked over at 6:15,

Anne Marie called me outside when
she arrived, we both love the sunsets.

I washed the dishes, Bill dried, Gibbs supervised. 🐶 We'd planned an impromptu game night so at 6:15 my boys went for a walk and I walked over to the clubhouse. There is nothing on tv to watch tonight anyway. 

In 15 minutes before we played
Yahtzee, I finished the puzzle.
It was fun working on it with Renee
this afternoon too.
