Taking Care of Business

Park Place RV Park

On Thursday, Nov., 20th I woke up at 3:35 and could not get back to sleep. LOL Too many things running through my head, mostly things related to what I've learned over the last 2 weeks and what do I remember? Silly.

Good morning
from Gibbs who is waiting
patiently for Daddy to wipe down
the cart.

We had our breakfast and Bill and Gibbs hopped on the cart and did the park rounds. I walked over and let myself into the clubhouse at 8:45. I was hoping to be able to finish the puzzle today but that depended on how busy things were around here.

A nice clear sky

That's kind of a joke, because until December and January, there aren't that many rotations within the park. Bill washed the floors in the building and I emptied the small garbage cans. It was a slow day. We woke up to 47F/7C, so the coolest it has been since our arrival.

Quesadilla for lunch

A long pants day, said Bill, for the first time in a month. The sky was clear and we were expecting a high of 66F/17C which is a pretty nice day under sunny skies. At noon, we had our lunch together and mine was a quesadilla. Just ham, celery, peppers and shredded cheese on a grilled tortilla.

All done!

I managed to finish the puzzle by 4 and went home to take Gibbs for his walk. Bill was doing the afternoon rounds of the park and we met up at the dog park where Gibbs got to touch noses and growl at Tucker once more before they ignored each other.

Bill and Fred off loaded the
park's new washing machine.

Lovely skies today

Angie and Rusty were out with the rv again today, so at 4:15 Bill helped him get it backed into their site on their return. They both did really well and Fred helped get the boards under their tires as he brought the unit in. It's a big 42' rv so I'm impressed.

Gibbs and Tucker
being indifferent towards each other

I worked on the new hat I'm crocheting and am impressing myself too! Small things, you know. For supper, Bill grilled our bacon cheeseburgers and cleaned up the last of that box. I don't need to tell you how they were, I should have taken a picture of my plate after eating!

It looks like my sweetie is pulling
this rv into it's spot.
Well, it took very little effort but
plenty of skill from my point of view.

We had more of that deeelicious (Maebeme's word) apple crisp for dessert and that filled us both. I worked on my blog and watched an old favourite of mine and my daughter's sitcom from early 2000. Have you ever watched Gilmore Girls?

Clouds, clouds, clouds.
Well, you understand don't you?

This was a good day and I have a feelig I won't be up too late tonight after my early wake up. I hope you've enjoyed your day, almost at week's end again! We made it to 69F/19C today.

No disappointment here.
Good night!

Thank you for your visit.
