Mr. Sew & Sew, Nancy Arrives!

Park Place RV Park

On Friday, Dec. 19th I was up before 7, thinking we may have an early visitor to the park. The park hosts do not park any arrivals after dark and because no one gets to their designated site without one of the staff to take you and park you in your site, there is no argument.

Good morning!

Yesterday, a reserved guest called with a delay, and they would not make it until 'after' dark. I had to direct them to the truck lot next door for the night. So, I wasn't sure when they might arrive. Bill took Gibbs on the park tour and then he joined me in the clubhouse.

Bill is willing to learn how to sew
IF it involves airplanes.

Our arrival did not come until after lunch but in the meantime, my eyes were opened when my Mr. Sew & Sew learned how to use my sewing machine. No, even though Bill's mom was a seamstress, he never had to learn. 😉 My brothers didn't either.

Lunch was a healthy one
Chicken hearts, veggies, cheese & fruit.

Bill was making wing bags for his planes and doing a fine job. Bette was also in the clubhouse with her machine, sewing curtains for the park model. It was busy enough today so I didn't even touch the puzzle and as we were getting close to closing up, Nancy and Cooper arrived! 💕

A pokey walk around the park
perimeter.
Everything needed to be sniffed!

After checking her in, Bill took her to her site, right between the Stinger "B" and the Suite. It is great for this group to get together for a brief Happy Hour.

He is so happy to see Nancy.
I think the feelings might me mutual.

When the sun dropped behind the mountain, we returned home. Nancy and I took the pooches for a short walk and Bill lit the Weber Q.

A goodbye and hello happy hour
with Tom, Deb and Nancy.

Gibbs knows that little
Cooper is inside.

I missed the sunset

We'd invited Nancy for supper, just in case she likes Bill's bacon, cheeseburgers. 😂 With 3 huge, freshly-picked oranges in hand, she arrived and shared our meal with us. I don't think she was disappointed. We're just happy she didn't have to prepare supper tonight.

But, again, the after glow was
worth the miss.

We took the pooches for a
short walk before supper.

We kept getting distracted when the
sky painting changed every minute.

Bill watched the Hallmark Christmas special while I worked on my blog. It took Brad Paisley to get me to stop and watch for a bit. His turqouise Fender Telecaster guitar is so pretty. This was a great day. I can't tell you how excited Gibbs was to see his sweetheart, Nancy. He just loves her so much. 😍

Like the weather, no
disappointment here either.
I ended up eating mine with a knife and fork.
Ask Nancy. (teehee)

The sunset was lovely again, we took turns getting pictures, after a 76F/22C day. Still no complaints here!

Gibbs had an exciting afternoon.
Good night!

Thank you for stopping in. Your comments are always appreciated.
