Park Place RV Park
On Tuesday, Dec. 9th, other than it being my Dad's 'heavenly' birthday and a girlfriend's birthday, it was a lovely morning when we got up. It was around 7 when I got out of bed with Gibbs. We had breakfast and Bill and Gibbs did their drive around the park.

Good morning! These are the last of the cards ready for mailing.
I went to the clubhouse and after rolling a bunch of quarters for Sue, I worked on the puzzle. Bill worked on one of the park's storage pods for Fred. He likes to keep busy during the mornings and this was something the manager wanted cleaned up.

This is the biggest group of ladies to play Pokeno so far!
After lunch at home with Bill, I finished writing up my Christmas cards. We need a few more stamps and they'll be in the mail. I went over with my container of pennies for Pokeno. We were all thrilled that there were 10, yes 10, players today. Linda came with Karen and Sue from her park down the road.

The pretty puzzle is done.
To put it mildly, we had a great time! Funny thing, Karen is from the Grand Prairie area in Alberta and Sue is from London, Ontario, where Bill and I lived and worked for 30 years. Small world. 😉

No disappointment here!
Bill took Gibbs for his walk at 4 and for supper, grilled bacon cheeseburgers that were delicious. We finished the yogourt cake for dessert and watched our NCIS programs. Gibbs slept with Santa on the floor beside me while I wrote my blog.

Such a sweet boy.
He needs a haircut so bad.
6 more days!
We reached 75F/23C today under sunny clear skies once more. Just lovely! Not many pictures today but it was a wonderful day. It was great fun playing with the ladies, and I'm sure everyone left feeling the same way.

Happy Heavenly Birthday, Daddy.
Good night!
Thank you for your visit.

What a treasured photo of your Dad playing drums.
ReplyDeleteSue
He totally surprised me when he did this. My ex is a musician and Daddy let the band practice out in our garage/shed.
DeleteYou are so good to send out Christmas cards. I think the last time I did that was ten years ago, maybe more. Yay for the pokeno gals. I'll have to bring a jug of pennies with me.
ReplyDeleteThank you, I guess I get it from Mom. She sent cards for all the birthdays and Christmases.
DeleteYes, bring pennies!
I have one card to send and I keep putting that off. No way will it make it oversea now.
ReplyDeleteYea!! 10 today for Pokeno. Lovely photo of your Dad.
God bless.
Hmm, yah, kinda late for a card to go overseas.
DeleteWe were so happy to have a full group!
Thank you, love the picture of Daddy too.
