Pet Talk

We have a pet. A pet who thinks he's a person. Typical, isn't it? Clemson was born on July 9, 2004 and he is a cockapoo. Because we own a small stick home when it came time to decide on a dog, choosing was very easy. Small lap dog, non shedding, not a barker and one that didn't need a big yard to run and play.
Clemson fit the bill quite nicely from the moment we brought him home at almost 10 weeks old.

Clemson loves to camp with us, loves to walk with us, ride in the vehicles with us and just plain be with us. He can't wait for us to sit our butts on the sofa or recliner so he can jump up on our lap or curl up beside us with his honorary paw on our thigh. It has been 10 years and it seems like it's been forever, can't imagine what life would be like without him.

Sadly, 2 weeks shy of his 15th birthday, we had to say goodbye to our little bum. If you have had or still have a precious furbaby, you know the feelings we are experiencing.
Clemson is healthy now and happy watching over us.
Will we move on with another little friend?
No decision has been made yet.

  1. I don't know how to dig up Gibbs-centric posts on this blog -- it would be fun to bury myself in Gibbs-ness some day. He seems like the perfect RV dog, and I'll bet he does pretty well in any lifestyle
