Water Towers - I'm Stuck on You

You know how when you are driving along on new roads or old familiar ones there is that one thing that catches your eye? No matter how many times you see it or one like it you have to grab that camera and snap a shot. It is a talisman of sorts. For some it is a water fall, others it is the mountains or town halls.

Well, for me it is water towers. Ever since I was young, I've loved them. It used to be a game I played during a family trip, trying to find the town's symbol and trying to find it first before my brother. Some are much nicer than others. It is the same with most things but each one is unique. I only wish when I was younger, I had a camera to catch them on film as they came into view. I've been watching them for years but didn't start snapping photos until later in life. Darn!

These days it is no different. I am no different, I still see the charm in each one. I'm always grabbing for my Canon at the last minute, sometimes just missing the perfect shot and other times catching it between the trees. I can't very well ask hubby to slow down while I focus since they are usually in the heart of a city, so I snap them when I can.

That is all this blog is about. Water towers. Just a few right now and I hope you don't mind me sharing them with you.
