Saturday, Dec. 10 was a L O V E L Y
day! My favourite so far, especially if the weather is taken into account.
We were up before the birds and some
neighbours at 6:30 am and headed into Quartzsite for an 8 o’clock appointment
at RV Lifestyles. They were installing a Blue Flame propane heater in our
Suite. No problem we had packed up what we needed to and hooked up the night
before, so all we had to do was close the slides and go. After getting dressed,
of course! Once more, I will let Bill post more on that, visit On Our Way
The weather was looking pretty fine,
I’ll tell you. At 8 am it was a balmy 54F and by 9 it was hovering around 65F
and by mid-afternoon it reached 78 beautiful Arizona degrees on our
thermometer!
I pulled out my counted cross stitch for the second time this week
already and settled in the heat of the sun for about an hour. It is a
continuing project, started in 1997 (don’t laugh) but one I intend to finish
ONE day. I like that I can work on it for as long or as little as I want, put it away and still have it to work on another day.
| this one was taken Friday, when the sun wasn't as full and it was a bit cooler |
Since we’d gone to Times Three Family
Restaurant for breakfast while the rv was in the shop, I wasn’t in need of
lunch. I continued counting stitches while Bill made a sandwich and he went
with Clemson for a snooze.
After about an hour I realized I needed to get up and move so I went for
a long walk to the opposite end of La Posa South for a change. You could get
lost in this place………as a matter of fact I know someone who has! Ha ha, you
know who you are!
By 3 pm Gerry had invited us to their
rv next door for happy hour so we made up a couple of Pina Coladas and took our
chairs over. Barb joined us as did George and Suzie to share in the ‘Happy’.
The temperature starts dropping rapidly once the sun sets so we all went ‘home’
for dinner with interruptions only to take photo shots of the beautiful and
ever changing sunset. These were Saturday night shots.

| And the grand finale |
Below, just shots of the last couple
of nights. When you think you’ve seen the most gorgeous one yet, blink and look
again.

Enjoy and
thank you for reading.
