Park Place RV Park
On Monday, Dec. 22nd I was in no rush to get up. My sleep was interrupted a couple of times in the wee hours, I think I was too warm, had me tossing and turning so I lazed for a few extra minutes until 7:30.
I knew Nancy was leaving this morning around 8:30 so I wanted to be ready to say goodbye. Bill was ready for the field but popped next door first for his hug and to pass on good travel vibes. 😁 When I saw she was close to pulling out, Gibbs and I went over for our own hugs and messages.

Bill was first to say his
goodbyes and see ya laters.

Then it Gibbs' and my turn.

I realized that I didn't get a picture of Nancy and her little partner, Cooper. But then I looked at this picture before she left.......and I guess I did! He's such a sweetheart and adores his Mama. (yes, I missed Jonathan chatting to me)
As I walked over to the clubhouse with my coffee mug and pool cue, Linda pulled in right after me.

Sometimes, when a guest leaves, staff is grateful. 'Nuff said.
There were 6 of us to start and we ended up at 11:45 with just 4 left. No matter how many, I've been pretty close to the bottom when we finish. I need practice! 😂 We did have fun though and a lot of laughs in the process.

Cards for staff
Home for lunch with Bill and then instead of rushing back to work on the puzzle, I worked on my last 3 (I think) Christmas cards for the hosts here in the park. The cards are normal so the envelopes needed to be spruced up. I used shredded paper for the white and it was perfect.

Just the tree left, Nancy. I will tackle it tomorrow on your behalf. 😅
When they were done and set to dry from the Mod Podge I used, it was just before 3. I wandered over to work on the puzzle. Nancy told me to finish it! Well, by 4:30, it wasn't done but I made a real good push. She'll laugh when she sees that only the busy Christmas tree is left to do. Neither of us wanted it.
Back home, Bill was charging batteries for his planes and then took Gibbs for his afternoon walk. I'm happy that we take turns with that. It's good for the little pooch too. Bill went next door to watch Steve work on his big rig, and it meant crawling under it to see. LOL

The sky, still cloudy, still beautiful,
when I walked home.
Supper was tacos and veggies and dip. They were awesome; ground beef never disappoints me. After clean up, we watched the finale of The Voice but at this stage, I don't yet know the winner but I will before I retire for the night.
It was another lovely day but shrouded with more clouds than we have had lately. The temperature still managed to reach a warm 78F/23C. A great Monday. I hope you are ready for Christmas, it is just a blink away!

Tacos never let me down.
Good night!
Thank you for your visit!
