The Ridge
On Saturday, Apr. 25th I took my time getting up, so it was around 7:30 when I came downstairs. There was nothing going on for me today until after supper. It was a cool night but we were warm inside, under our duvet.

Good morning!
Gibbs snoozes on my chair back
and I have a nice view while crafting.
We had some gusty winds overnight and rain as well. We didn't need either but by mid morning, the rains had stopped. Bill went to the Hangar and when he came up at noon, I discovered that he was purging. Too much 'stuff', so he was making room to work in there.

Just a walk around my big
garden.
These 2 trees were a foot high in 2016
when we moved up here.
I wasn't feeling too warm and we didn't want to run the furnace, so with the Blue Flame heater on, I just stayed inside and worked on my hobby. Gibbs isn't fond of the rain so he was happy to stay indoors with me.

Gibbs and I walking the lane.
You see how that goes.
I worked on one of the printed canvas boards that I bought at the Dollarama. I'm liking this for a change of pace. It is getting creative juices running. 😃 We had sandwiches for lunch and Bill went back out and I resumed quilling.
The sun began breaking through the clouds around 2 and after my cup of tea, it was a half blue sky. Gibbs and I bundled up and went outside. Well, I bundled up, the wind was very cold.
One of our pretty birch
trees had snapped off and I didn't
notice until now.
Unless last night's winds did it.

The water in the front field has
abated quite a bit but it is still
sloppy to walk in.
I walked to the end of the lane, Mr. lazybones didn't come too far but teased me by running to the water for a slurp from the pond and then running up the hill. Little goof. As I've said before, I laugh every day with him.

A dirty little piggy on our mat
waiting for me.
💗
The sun was in his eyes.
For supper, we had beef pies, coleslaw and Bill had fries. It was all very good. It was a good day for a movie so I watched a couple. I was expecting to go with Robin tonight to take her van to Shelbourne for a safety.

Supper was filling,
quick and tasty,
When I messaged, her friend had taken it for her earlier so I was off the hook. I wouldn't have minded helping but just as happy not to have to make that drive tonight. It was a relaxing evening. No clouds left, it will be another cool night, 0C/32F, so no sunset to record either.
Thank you for spending the day with us. It was a good one.
