Wonky Start to my Day, Pool Time

It was 7:15 on Thursday, Apr. 2nd when I first saw the light of day. It was a restless night because when I got up from watching Survivor last night to finish my blog................my back had other ideas. What should be the normal rising, was painful and I had a hard time walking to the island. 2 feet!

Good morning!

What did I do to cause that? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING out of the ordinary. So, I took some Tylenol, tried stretching and then went up to do some blocking. Everything had me biting back pain yelps, so I ended up laying flat on the floor upstairs for 10 minutes. That did help as did Gibbs' hugs as I lay there. 💖

It didn't go away so rather than sit back in a chair where I was uncomfortable, I went up to bed and did my morning stretches. When I could find nothing to watch on tv, it got turned off and I tried to find a comfy position to sleep. Eventually, something worked.

When I woke this morning, with a lovely breeze coming in our windows, I felt no pain in my back! Yay! However,..............when I sat up after 7, I was dizzy. This hasn't happened in a while and I realized that my water intake yesterday was lacking. Duh! I know better.

I ended up spending the next 3 hours in bed, drinking water and sleeping. Bill took my bp but it was normal so no worries there. At 11, I was up and fine so made some toast and jam and felt normal again. LOL 

Bill went out this morning, after assuring himself that I was okay in bed, and put the dreaded tire minders on the Suite's tires. I don't like that whole system, for obvious reasons, but he wants to use them since it was a fair bit of $$.

He had lunch and settled for a snooze with Gibbs. I decided to go to the pool and see how the flies were. Ha! They were fine but annoying enough. I sat out soaking up some sun for 20 minutes, something I've not done much of this winter, and then floated on a pool noodle for another 25.

Before leaving the pool/clubhouse area at 2:30, I checked out the puzzle table. Alas, there was only a finished one sitting there and I wasn't in the right frame of mind to start a new one. There was a poker game going on in the other room, so I slipped out.

Back home, Bill changed Black Beauty's air filter, even though it didn't look too bad, and went to the water station in the park to fill up our water bottles. Now, we are good to truly head out for our journey home. For supper, we had fish and chips. We were connected to power so used the deep fryer.

This turned into a nice peaceful day. The flies were a pain at the pool but no as much as here at our site. Bill grumbled after each outing, 'darn flies!!' I'm going to try and talk him into watching a movie tonight........if I can find it. We'll see about that. Today, our temps were hovering around 84F/26C, soon to rise again. Time to move on!

Supper was good

Madame IP perfectly made hard-boiled eggs for egg salad sandwiches this week. Gibbs and I went for a walk while they were cooling in ice water. I let him lead the way and we walked for about 20 minutes before suggesting we find Daddy. He is like Bill's drone - I say 'where's Daddy' and he finds him. 😀

My last 3 pictures are interesting. Dated Apr. 20, 22 & 23, 2018. Our 2nd year's arrival home to the Ridge. We stayed at the end of the lane 3 days until it melted enough to get up there. Funny thing, the temperature was very mild!
