The Same but Different

The Ridge

On Sunday, May 24th everything looked the same out my bedroom window when I first opened my eyes. I've been sleeping like a log lately and I think my late nights have something to do with that. Neither Bill or I felt tired last night until 11:30. LOL

Good morning!
Gibbs got a new toy today
and he never put it down all day.

When I woke this morning at 6:35, Bill and Gibbs were just getting up and going out for Gibbs' morning constitution. 🤭 It was after 7 by the time I got my butt moving and helped Bill sort laundry. I entered the Mat with only one customer present.

Look at those eyes.
He's hoping I don't take
his doggy away.

Because wipers were on the whole drive to town, I knew I would be drying the 2 loads in the machines. No hanging laundry today. When I was finished, I headed straight home with one stop at Robin's to empty her mailbox for her. They are in Nfld for a couple of weeks.

I made a quick turnaround at home; made myself a coffee to go and drove back through the mist to Hanover. We needed a few groceries and since it was another crappy day, it was a good day to shop.

A rose-breasted Grosbeak visits.

It seemed like everyone had the same idea as Walmart was very busy. I was still in and out within 90 minutes and home by 12 noon. With the groceries put away, we had lunch together and the rest of the day was much like yesterday.

And Mr. Oriole is enjoying
the grape jam

For supper, Rosy the air fryer reheated a small cooked ham, I boiled a large potato to share, squash for me and corn for Bill. Supper was very good. We cleaned up the pots and releaxed for the evening.

Supper was great.
Hey!
A Sunday night meal on a Sunday night!
😀

I guess I missed the final episode of Hope Valey so Bosch filled up the rest of our evening hours. I won't complain about today, it was a good day to get things done. We only reached 15C/59F and this looks like the beginning of a warm up.

Happy Birthday, Yvonne.
Bill's oldest daughter is
celebrating today.
Good night!

Thank you for stopping by.
