A Great Friday

Park Place RV Park

On Friday, Nov. 14th I woke up at 5:55 am from a solid sleep. Of course, dreams, but it was a very good night. I was tired, as usual, but it was 10 that I crawled into bed.

Good morning!

Bill was just getting out of the shower by the time I was up, making the bed at 7. I'd planned to walk with Diane and Sue this morning, so headed out the door before my tea. It was one of the nicewst mornings, not coolish but fresh and comfortable.

It was a very pretty morning.

Sue doesn't like the early mornings so suggested we walk at 8 instead when it will also be warmer. I know some cooler weather is around the corner so think that is behind the change.  People are funny, but we'll give it a shot. 😀

Bill went to the flying field for about 3 hours and when he returned, he picked up Renee, a park guest, and drove to Blythe. Her Class C motorhome was in for repairs and since she has no tow car, needed a ride to pick it up. Bill was going anyway for the battery that he ordered.

I was attracted to this one,
since it is still fall.

I worked on the puzzle long enough to get the pieces turned over and the border done. Well, 3 pieces have yet to be found but mostly done.

But once I got it on the table,
yikes! What have I started? 😦

Bill brought back a new light fixture for the bathroom in the clubhouse and installed it before lunch. I meant to get a picture, but that will be tomorrow.

There was serious contemplation
going on here, how did that doggie
piddle up here?
It was a 2 minute stop before I
pulled him away. 🐶

We had lunch, chicken hearts for me, and Gibbs and I went out for a walk. I decided to refresh my crochet skills (which are sad to say the least) and see if I could use up my bulky yarn for a toque. Not for me - well, who knows? It has only been ripped out 3 times so far. 'Ribbet'.

Lunch was tasty!

Bill and I hopped in Black Beauty and dropped off the bags of clothes and household items at Carol's Closet/Food Bank. A good donation place where they don't charge the needy.

Bill and I drove through
the Arroyos community near us.
This Saguaro is amazing!

For supper, we had toasted westerns, something we haven't had for a very long time. They were delicious! Instead of in a sandwich, since there was so much, I had mine open-faced. They were better than I thought they'd be. 😋

Gibbs and I walked before
supper and the sky was still performing.

We cleaned up the fry pans and watched Mistletoe Murders mystery together while I worked on my blog. It is one of the W channel shows that I don't mind. It isn't related to Christmas! This was a nice day, reaching a high of 85F/27C again.

Good night!

It will be another warm night for sleeping but also leading up to morning rain and a drop in temperature.

Thank you for popping by.
