Going with the Flow

Park Place RV Park

On Friday, Nov. 7th we began the day as usual. Bill and Gibbs went out for their first walk at 6 and I was up at 7. I wanted to join Sue and Diane at 7:30 for the walk around the park, if possible. It was possible and we did a couple of roundabouts.

Good morning!

After a bite to eat, at 8:45, Bill hopped on the golf cart and did his drive around the park. They check sites, the dog park and any unusual things like water taps leaking etc. We met at the clubhouse and Sue joined us at a few minutes before 9.

We'll get into a routine where we don't show up too early, yet enough time to have the washroom and showers cleaned, laundry machines checked and floors swept for the day. It was a slow morning so Sue was able to prepare the signs for Thanksgiving dinner.

The puzzle is coming along now
that I'm spending a bit more time on it.

Within minutes of coming back for lunch, it was nice to see Susan (past host) for a brief visit. She was visiting a friend. We will make a point to stop in and see her and John this winter. Sandwiches for lunch, nothing exciting at all, and I returned to the clubhouse for 1 o'clock.

Bill finished the weeding this morning by 10:30 so there isn't much for him this afternoon unless Fred has a suggestion. As long as he/they are available, that is all that is required. Same for me. I need to be over there but can work on the puzzle, keeping the phone with me. 😊

Now that is a plate of
delicious fish and chips!

Even though quiet, the afternoon seemed to go by quickly enough. Back home, Bill had a snooze and I took Gibbs for his park walk. At 5:30 we met Tom and Deb at Mountain Quail Cafe for supper. The original restaurant. It was Fish Friday! Over 1/2 lb. of deep fried fish, fries and coleslaw.

Lots of food and surprisingly, other than a few fries, I managed to put it all away. Delicious! It was dark when we came out and said our goodbyes - until next time. This was a good day, ended with a good meal, accompanied by great friends.

Yup, you'd recognize this
Jeep, wouldn't you?

Temperatures haven't changed - much - but it is why we come down here. It is a chilly 47F/7C back home so pull out the warm fuzzies!

Although the sign isn't easy
to read, Black Beauty was lit up
waiting for us.
Good night!

Thank you for coming by.
