Dreary Still but Sky Pictures

Park Place RV Park

On Saturday, Nov. 22nd we pretty much followed the same routine as we do every day. The sky was quite pretty before I even had the bed made. How do I know? Bill went out and captured pictures for me. What a sweetheart! I totally missed it.

Good morning!

I stripped the duvet cover off the duvet, it always seem too big for this newer (to us) duvet so I'm happy to get it washed and tucked away for now. I do hope to pick up a nice real new one, maybe for Christmas. I took it over and tossed it in the washer with a couple of scatter rugs.

I haven't started a new puzzle yet, but want to continue on Donna's 2nd hat so I can get them sent off asap. She's going to need them and 2 will give her a choice. I'll start on the puzzle as an in-between hobby. These dreary days are for inside anyway so I don't mind being indoors.

Bill took this looking west.
Still pretty.

We were happy to hear from Tom and Deb this morning but sad that they had to delay their arrival. The rain has literally put a 'damper' on that. They were scheduled to come in today but with everything (or many things) wet, they will come on Monday.

Some of the clouds appeared to have
fallen from the sky.
Isn't this pretty?

Tom did come in and dump their blue boy and get some water to tie them over until then. Boondocking takes some planning and they were pretty much dead on with their schedule........when they needed to dump, until the wet weather. Jell-o, right?

There was a brief moment this
afternoon when sun made an
appearance but it didn't last.

Bill and I had sandwiches for lunch and that confirmed that we need to go shopping again tomorrow for a few staples. The bread is almost gone, milk, cream and butter on the verge too. The afternoon was quiet and still dull.

Peeking out our back window
to the west.

Supper is leftover meatloaf and mac & cheese but because I had my tea so late, I wasn't very hungry. We cleaned up in time for a movie and a quiet evening. The rain is still a threat but hopefully not for long.

Leftovers,
I didn't need much.

This has been a pretty quiet day and we only reached another high of 65F/15C.

Good night.
(the 5 lights are a reflection no a ufo)

Thank you for your visit.

  3. I was hoping the rain would be gone this morning, but it clearly rained more overnight and the fog has rolled in. I'm off to the store too, to get a few veg as my crisper is near empty. Lots of leftovers in the fridge to keep me going for a few days.
It was a good indoors day yesterday for certain.

  5. I should have gotten up a little bit earlier yesterday. The color really added to the beauty of the clouds on the ground. Nice pictures, Bill. We did have it timed pretty close...lol See you tomorrow I do love that I am looking out at blue sky and sunshine as I write this.
