The Ridge
Once in a while, when catching up on my blogging friends posts, I notice that you pop in short ones. Seems to me like mine are always long and drawn out......so, today, although we were kept busy enough throughout the day, I'm going to try and brief it up. (try)

Good morning! Lots of fog early in the day.
On Friday, June 26th Bill was up early but not for work. He left the Suite at 7:30 and headed to Guelph's Costco. From there he went to a Hobby Store in Mississauga. Sorry, couldn't pay me enough to drive there, especially on a Friday, Saturday, Sunday.......heck, anytime.

They didn't disappoint and I didn't forget. Two Moonflowers today.
I got up around 7 and left the Suite at 9ish and headed in the opposite direction to Hanover's Walmart.

When I closed our outside door last night, this caught my eye. So pretty when the sun is still shining through especially.
We needed groceries and those two places are the best prices for what we need. With a couple of other stops, I was on my way home, arriving at 11:30.

Some clearing on the way, but not enough to unplug from power.
Bill was home by 1 and I'd just about finished my lunch of bacon and eggs. He had his bacon sandwich and the rest of our day was quiet. He dumped our black tank and I did some quilling. Gibbs was in and out, wherever we were.

Three greeting cards finished today. I like these a lot.
It is Catch the Ace Friday and we had to be there for 5. Neither of our tickets were drawn and we were home by 7 for a hot dog supper. Today started out cloudy and remained that way most of the day. I had a bit of rain early in Hanover but it didn't last.
We reached a mild enough, calm day of 20.5C/69F and when the sun came out after 5, that was when we reached our peak.

This is why we have signs at the
beginning of our lane.
The babies are now teens!
Our larder is full and we're prepared with enough food for our Canada Day guests to arrive. I've enjoyed the day and we're ready for the weekend.
This is as short as I get, can't seem to stop the fingers! I hope you've had a great Friday.
