What a Lovely Day!

Park Place RV Park

Thursday, Nov. 13th I kinew when I woke up for the first time at 4:30, that it had been a more solid sleep. Yes, still dream-filled, and my mind began playing those usual games (go back to sleep, why aren't I sleeping?, do I need to turn over? am I comfortable?), I was able to drop back off until 7.

Good morning!

Gibbs was stretched across the bottom of the bed and he and Bill had already been out. After getting dressed and my tea was made, the little guy let Daddy know that they needed to get out there and tour the park. He already knows the routine and doesn't have a lot of patience waiting. 😂

A sleepy boy

Since I finished the puzzle yesterday, I didn't have that to work on but went over to the clubhouse to start my day. Another check in was taken care of and Sue reminded me that she had her food prep class. I was going to go along but she said it wasn't necessary. Yay!

Gibbs isn't old enough to drive
so he keeps Daddy company.

At noon, we had lunch and I wandered back. A new puzzle was just waiting for me, I just knew it! The temperature today started out cooler but a pleasant 60F/14C under wispy clouds. The high will be 87F/27C, a bit warmer than yesterday because the clouds won't last.

These cloud filled skies
are so beautiful.

No sighting last night of the sky lights but the clouds were very heavy in our area. At least I didn't see anything spectacular here. The rest of the afternoon went fairly quickly with new reservations and a few inquiries. I took Gibbs for his walk at 4:15.

More resting going on
over there.

For supper, we had fish and chips. I need to get back to the fish and NO chips so started tonight. Instead, I opened a package of noodles from the freezer for me. I doubt they were much better than the fries but with butter, salt and pepper, tasty.

It took the fish forever to cook
in Rosy, the air fryer, but finally
it all worked out.

I watched, 9-1-1,Matlock and Elspeth, catching up on those episodes and Bill went upstairs to watch a movie. He isn't interested in those. It was a good day, and although I got a new puzzle out, I didn't even get the border started.

This is a memory from Nov. 13, 2021.
Good night.

Thank you for stopping by! Your comments are appreciated. Ps - I agree with y'all that Gibbs and Bill in the cart is priceless. 💕

    1. Thank you Doug. As long as they are good dreams, I guess we shouldn't complain, right?

  2. Boy do I have a puzzle for you! That one Mr. Ed gave me that I couldn't even get half done. I'm bringing it along.

  3. I'm sure Gibbs enjoys the ride, and spending time with Bill is a bonus. This time his Dad doesn't go off to work without him. :)
Sounds like the park is getting busier. In our small park, we're expecting another couple this weekend, and a second couple the middle of next week. And today, we're hoping to have our first happy hour outdoors! It's the little things, right?

    1. Right on both counts regarding Gibbs. :)
The park is slowly filling but until late December and January, it will be pretty quiet. It is a lovely day today, a slow cool off.
