A Lazy Day

Park Place RV Park

On Saturday, Mar. 21st we had a very lazy day. Well, up at normal time and  before the heat hit too bad, Gibbs and I got out for our walk around the park perimeter. Not the block this time, it was already feeling oppressive at 8:30.

Good morning!

Bill went to the field for a chat with his friends and returned to work on getting his new plane ready to fly. That is the kind of planes they buy these days. ARF kits, 'almost ready to fly'. πŸ˜‰ So, very little preparation work. He wants a test flight before it gets packed up to go home.

A couple more cards done

Well, I didn't do much worth talking about today, but most days are like that. I worked on my quilling this morning and made another greeting card. I'm loving this hobby so much! The cards are fun to do and earrings are getting easier with each one I create.

Bill and Gibbs were comfortable
and happy at home

After our lunch, I went over to start a new puzzle. Sue and I debated making The Starry Night puzzle into a picture and frame it for the clubhouse but without the proper frame, we just moved it for now and started a new EASY puzzle. She helped me with the border and left me to it.

This one shouldn't take too long.
Especially if I have help.

After an hour and a half, I had to push myself away, it was almost coming together too quickly. πŸ˜‚ I realized when I got home that I should have stayed for another hour. Bill had claimed our living space and had a movie on downstairs while he worked.

As I've said before, these Hallmark movies - not my thing - so I sat at my laptop with Gibbs behind me and with ear buds in, watched my own movie on YouTube. If his movies had different story lines each time, I could get into a love story......but they don't. Oh well, to each his own.

Just a few pictures of how the
sky changed but the temperature
remained the same.
HOT

I watched a true story called 90 Minutes in Heaven and, although the actors were not famous, it was a touching story and makes one truly wonder what happens when we die, if you haven't already figured it out. Then we moved to my chair where the little bum continued to love on Mama. So hot! πŸ’•

We'd agreed on another cold supper, so had fruit, chips and cheese rather than cook a meal. The Suite kept fairly comfortable all day until around 4 and it just couldn't compete with the 106F/37C outdoors. We will look for the few degrees relief that is coming over the next few days.

Not on the list of
recommended suppers but,
we are adults, right?

We watched an episode of Cross, then a couple of FBI that I missed before I went up to bed. Bill had switched the a/c to run upstairs until he came up to bed around 11. With windows open, we slept well in the 66F/16C. It was a good day, just not much exertion at all!

Living in someone else's house
for 4 1/2 months made us very
anxious to be back here.

A couple of memories from
our winter at home (Covid).
We moved back to our home on the Ridge
on March 19, 2021.

Thank you for your visit!
