Coffee Hour.......and Nothing!

Park Place RV Park

On Wednesday, Mar. 4th I woke up the sound of Gibbs in a wee growl. With my window beside me open, his hearing detected a lady walking her wee dog by our site. It was 4:15 and no, it wasn't Nancy. 😅

Good morning!

"Go back to sleep", was our command to Gibbs and we all followed suit. Next thing, after a few fits and starts, it was 6 and my boys were going out for 'their' walkabout. That's when it hit me that I was still tired and dropped off until almost 7:30. Nice.

Bill left for the field. It was a calm morning for the pilots so they like to get their early. I wanted to make sure the snacks I bought for coffee hour were fresh enough to offer. They would be fine, although not as good as homemade, after a bit of a warm up before taking them over. And they were.

Renae did the white puppy,
and this is how I left the puzzle
at noon.

Unfortunately, there wasn't time to get out with Gibbs before I had to take them over at 8:50. Angie came in at 9 and made a pot of coffee, kind of surprised that I had not done so. Nope! I don't do coffee when I don't know what strength people like it. Mine would probably be too weak.

The little snacks were a hit.

There were 8 of us today and the snack seemed suitable enough, with only raspberry square left. I enjoyed talking to Mae this morning, she is also interested in learning to paper quill. We've planned that for when we meet here next winter, God willing.

Another pretty sky

I worked on the puzzle until noon and came home to have my leftover pizza. Warmed up in Rosy, my air fryer, it was just as tasty and still guilt-free as it was last night. I worked on the shamrock quilling design rather than go to the puzzle right away.

All done, so cute!

When I was ready for St. Patrick's day, (haha) I moved on to a couple of greeting cards. I walked to the clubhouse at 3:30 to finish the puzzle and was pleased that Renae actually worked on it earlier. I know she enjoys them as much as I do. It only took 15 minutes and I was back home again.

The 3 of us sat under the canopy until it was time to start grilling supper. Bill cooked our sausages and I prepared coleslaw as our side. At 6, one of our favourite shows to watch, Survivor 50, came on so we finished eating in good time.

Just the right amount for me.

This was a good, hot day and we spent it as easily as we could without too much physical activity. We enjoyed the 83F/26C.

Let's go back in time to a
great memory at Elephant Butte Lake State Park.
Clemson (pre-Gibbs), Bill and I.
Good night!

Thank you for popping in.
