Enjoying Some 'almost' Last Moments

Park Place RV Park

On Monday, Mar. 16th it was aolmost 7:30 when I got up. Gibbs was focused on Piggy so I didn't get my usual kisses and cuddles. Apparently, he slept right at Bill's chest, head under his chin from 4:30 to 6! No lovin' left for Momma. Daddy's boy. 🐕💕

Good morning!
Nice sky and little wind.

Bill had his shower and decided to take a drive to the field to see who was there to chatter with. He is 'plane-less' for the moment, until his new one arrives. LOL Gibbs and I did our usual walk around 8:30 and the heat was upon us immediately. It was 64F/16C.

On our walk, Gibbs and I checked
out the White Oleander flowers blooming.

I walked over to the clubhouse for our 3rd last Ladies Poker Pool. There were 7 of us today and a good time was had by all. Linda and I tied for first place so that put a perk in my morning. That rarely happens! 😀

We may not be pros at the game
of Poker Pool but we still like to get
certain things right! 😂

It was a few minutes past noon when we finished.

Bill had our canopy down when
I returned home at noon.

We had lunch together and Bill and I took our list to Walmart in Parker for a few things. Keeping an eye on what comes into the freezer, but making sure that we have the essentials for the meals until we move from here. We stocked up on our bread, I doubt we'll find anything similar back home.

It's always my challenge to capture
this welcome sign when we go.
Often, I miss it.

With groceries put away and the bank updated (Bill does that), I left them for their snooze and went back to the puzzle at 3. Sue and I had a bit of a chat while she sat with me. Yes, she put a piece in before she walked back to the office. 😉😉 Renae made some progress last night and I added more today.

It's coming along now.
Renae and I have made progress.

Had to take a picture of this
'not an Airstream' old rv in the
park next door.
I think it might be an Argosy.

When I walked back home at 4:30, the blanket of heat was surely upon us. Still, only a wee tip of the 'iceberg' (oxy moron?) for what we'll have from Wednesday to Sunday.

When Bill started supper, Gibbs
wanted outside 'with' Piggy. That's a no-no.
No cloth toys outside that belong inside.
He mourned her absence so he and I
went inside with Piggy. LOL
This pooch kills me!

This is only March and although this won't last here anymore than the warm up back home will, we'll carry on. Quite a few campers here and around the area have pulled out a day or two early or have plans to do so. We'll be here until the end of the mongh. Thank heavens for a/c.

Here's what we're looking at.
I love how they call it
'weather whiplash' but it applies
to other parts of the country.

Supper was good, grilled sausages, leftover potatoes and mushrooms and gravy with apple crisp for dessert. Bill had his sausage on a bun but I had mine on my plate with a hot potato sandwich. May not sound great, but it was good and used up leftovers!

It was a tasty supper!

We cleaned up the few pots by hand and ran the dishwasher with the remainder. I worked on my blog and Bill set up to watch a movie. This was a nice day, couldn't ask for anything better than that.

My St. Patrick's day earrings.
Stephanie guess what they were.
Good night!

Thanks for the pop in!
