Quiet Day for Puzzling and Packing

Park Place RV Park

On Thursday, Mar. 26th we followed the same routine as that of the previous few days. There were no early 'events' to attend - none at all, actually. Bill went to the field, last day to see the guys. We are on duty for the next 3 days.

Good morning!
My sweeties cuddle last night
while we watched tv.

We each had our showers this morning, and by the time I finished around 9:30, it was late to take Gibbs for his walk. He was sound asleep up on the bed anyway, not missing anything. Already, the temperature was rising quickly under a clear sky.

There are so many clear days here.
We can't complain, it's why we come down here.

Instead, I put a couple more decorative things away from downstairs and then I cleaned off my end of our dresser. I put my quilled earrings and decorative 'things' up in my cupboard with the exception of Clemson in his little box and his pictures.

Bill was home by 10:00, so I walked over to the puzzle until noon hour. Tammy and Robert had been over and put some pieces in last night, so I carried on in the lower part of the picture today. It is a really nice one to work on so it was hard to walk away.

Nancy mentioned that yesterday's
blog had no pictures of this little guy.

We had lunch together; I finished the messy tacos, and Bill had a sandwich. I know from the comments that some of you prefer the soft tacos but honestly? I love the crunch and the taste of the hard shell much better - if I have a choice. Which I do! 😊This is what a 'taco' is to me.

So, here he is.

I went back to the puzzle when Gibbs and bill prepared for their snooze. Once more, I had to push myself away from the table around 3:30 to go home and see what my boys were up to. Bill was working on our budget, shuffling things around to see what our summer will be like.

the puzzle was coming along
almost too quickly

For supper, we had weiners and mac & cheese. A nice quick meal as I had game night with the ladies, my last one, at 6 pm. LOL we have fun! There was a reason to celebrate - well, an inside joke - and I had one last Cutwater Lime Margarita left just waiting for a reason, right? πŸ˜‚

Poor man's supper and it
tasted just fine to us!

There were 6 of us, again missing Stephanie, but we still managed to have a great time. Lots of laughs and Renae, being the thoughtful lady she is, gave Bette and I a pretty crystal ball. As each person leaves, she has one for each of us. πŸ’˜ Told ya, she's such a kind heart.

Renae asked who was at their 'last'
game night for this season.
So, Bette and I got her first
crystal balls.

I was home by 9ish and it was a lovely evening. Bill and Gibbs were at the tail end of a movie so I worked on finishing my blog. This was a great day. We still reached a high of 101F/34C so the a/c was greatly appreciated.

A sweet memory from April, 2023.
