Lunch with Friends, Au Revoir and Puzzle Progress!

Park Place RV Park

On Saturday, Mar. 14th we were up and active by 7. Bill was off to the flying field before the winds got too strong. I think he said he got a couple of flights in, one day rolls into the next. I sat and enjoyed my tea before Gibbs and I went for our walk.

Good morning!
this was last night after I posted
my blog.

Already, at 8:45, it was heating up. Overnight sleeping was fine with my little window open and I was awake around 5 again. I'm fortunate that I can drop back off in fits and spurts at least. Gibbs delved under the covers when Bill was in the bathroom and it's so hard not to laugh - which encourages him.

We don't have to pay for entertainment
here in the Suite.
This little guy playing with his toys,
is enough.

And if it isn't, we get this....
Mom, Piggy and I need help up on the chair.
Lazy bum.........look at that tail.

I had nothing on the agenda today until after lunch so worked on making some greeting cards and earrings to stock up again. A couple of my older projects needed some touch ups, a second look does that - shows me what's missing.

Our early walk was already warm.

Poor thing. I almost had to
give him mouth to mouth.
What a performance! 😂😂
So hot, Mom.
It was actually lovely in the shade
on our patio with the breeze.

Bill was home around 10:30? 11:00? I don't recall, but at 11:30, Deb called about meeting them for lunch at Sunset Grill. That sounded awesome as we've still not made it there. It was a great meal, I chose the chicken bacon wrap with fries. Yummy!

I thoroughly enjoyed my
chicken wrap and fries. The service was great too!
I do love the signs on their walls.
These are only a few.

We had a nice little visit inside the place and when finished, around 1, said our final goodbyes for this season. We'll see them in the fall again, God willing. Safe travels T & D and good luck with the repairs on your rig. We returned home very full and knew we'd have lunch for supper. Sandwiches. ðŸ˜€

The drive home on Quail Trail.
Such a pretty sky.

I quilled some more, my boys dozed at some point and I walked over to the clubhouse to stare at the Van Gogh puzzle around 3. Surprisingly, that break from it seemed to help. Within 15 minutes, I had put 10 pieces in and made some decent progress until 5:15 when I came home.

Can you see a difference?
I sure can! I feel much better about it.

We had our cold supper, well, I had toast and jam, and settled in for the evening. It was a good, quiet day. We've had our last 'regular' friends' visit and now we're just enjoying what is left of our time in the park. I hope things are good for you, in your life.

Busy day tomorrow so
Good night!

Thank you for your visit! Oh! We reached 92F/30C again today.

  5. Look how the puzzle is coming along. You can do this.
Harvey is refusing to do one of the puzzles I purchased as a Christmas gift. Each piece is a photo of the whole. I think I should have thought a bit more before getting it.

    God bless.
