Park Place RV Park
On Thursday, Feb. 12th I woke up to a gentle kiss on my cheek. Bill was getting concerned when I hadn’t moved and I was shocked when it was 7:45! I know it was a restless night, turning this way and that quite a bit. Obviously, I was still tired to be sound asleep until then. A lot of dreams fell in between the wakefulness too.
Good morning!
Clouds would rule the day.
Bill made
my tea as he finished getting ready and left for the field soon after. Gibbs
was ringing the bell to go out (again), ringing it with a fervor! So, Bill took
him before he left and Gibbs had him going on another walk. Little bum, has his
Daddy wrapped around one of those fingers! 😊 I was slow moving but did my stretches to relieve the aches.
Gibbs and I moved quickly to keep warm
(Actually, that is his normal pace between sniffs)
I finished
my tea, played a few games and then sat at the table to fix the earrings that I
wasn’t happy with yesterday. I am much happier with the finished product now
and don’t mind showing them off. I could have made red ones so the hearts were
appropriate for Valentine’s Day but then I would only wear them on that day. I
wanted to be able to wear them throughout the year.
Gibbs was
looking at me around 9:45 so I left my mess on the table and took him for yet
another walk. I am grateful to get out for some sort of walk and so I bundled
against the wind and off we went. It was 61F/16C so warm enough until I walked
facing the gusts. 😊 He took me the long way back home
and I was feeling good by the time we returned.
Bill was
home so I left Gibbs out on his leash with Daddy and I walked over to the
clubhouse at 10:30. The puzzle was calling. I worked away until noon hour and
came back for lunch. It is almost a soup day but we had our sandwiches and
planned supper for tonight. As I was sitting here after lunch, there were a few
raindrops on the back window. A few, maybe 50. That’s the 38% chance
this morning.
Yes, diesel and regular fuel jumped.
This is the most we've paid - here
I went to
the puzzle around 1:30 and worked away until 3. That was enough, it is coming
along. It had rained while I was over there, I could see the wet ground, more
drops on the window and that lovely smell of Arizona rain in the air. 😊 It still wasn’t much, just enough to leave Black Beauty
covered in droplets, that was the 98% chance we were forewarned of. BB has been
looking spiffy since we got her washed, thanks to Bill for the daily dusting.
I added one more thing to
the picture frame.
A little cactus.
For supper, we had Beef meat pies with our vegetable on the side. I haven’t made dessert in a while and today would have been a good day for it, being cooler. I’ll see how ambitious I am tomorrow. It was a good meal and quite filling.
I will watch Matlock and Elspeth before bed and Bill will find something to watch upstairs. We can’t
get the 4 Nations Hockey Championships or I’d try to watch those, even though we are not big sports fans. Canada won
last night against Sweden so that was a great start!
I was too lazy to go out so took these
from the windows.
It was a
cooler day, only 62F/15C for a high, feeling cooler with the gusty winds. We
still enjoy each day as it comes. No sense in whining about it!
These meat pies are pretty tasty.
Good night!
Thank you
for stopping by!
