Park Place RV Park
On Tuesday, Nov. 5th we were all up before 7. When I came downstairs, I immediately slipped into my runners and went for my walk around the big block. It was a cool 46F/8C ° morning. The only thing cold was my hands so I’ll be looking for my mini gloves before tomorrow morning. 😊
Good morning!
The sky was just warming up for its performance.
These are the western mountains. In the east, I was not disappointed.
The sky
was clear though and as I walked, I paid attention to the rising sun. When I
returned, Bill was just about ready to leave for the field since the winds were
almost non-existent this morning. Yay! I hopped in the shower and then took
Gibbs for his walk around the small block. That’s our morning exercise. ♥ I played my on-line Wordle games and then took my next book outside to
the gazebo with Gibbs.
Pictures from my walk around the big block Walking back, pretty white clouds against
a gorgeous blue sky.
The last
book I’d started, did not get finished. It got stupid after a few chapters and
I don’t believe in wasting time waiting for it to grab my attention again. So,
I’ve started The Games by James Patterson and zipped through 30 pages before I
put it down ‘with force’. 😊 Yes, I’m involved already. Bill returned from the field,
after 3 good flights, just as Gibbs and I had come inside to make my coffee. It
was 10:30 and time to work on the puzzle for a bit.
I left the puzzle today looking like this.
I am loving this one!My kalanchoe is flowering.
I guess it is happy.
The one on the left is from a cutting off
Robin's large plant.
Someone's cat broke it off at the bnb.
After
lunch, I went back and left the boys on their own. Two hours is enough and when
I found myself yawning at the puzzle table, I walked back home. Bill suggested
sausages on buns for supper, so I had those thawing in the sink. It’s a quiet
day, which is really nice. We are retired, after all! When I came back home
around 2:30, we all sat outside in the gazebo together. I had my tea, my book
and fought to keep my eyes open enough to read it!
Gibbs
still keeps us apprised of impending threats as cars, people and other dogs
walk by but that’s who he is. Some days he is so much better than others, go
figure, no rhyme or reason. ♥ It was around 4 when I took him for his/our afternoon walk around the
park and we met up with Jess and Jesse, young friends we met here last winter.
Such a lovely couple! I got my hugs there and we carried on.
Supper, I almost forgot the
picture!
For supper, it was grilled sausage on a bun. They are such good sausages this time, I’ll have to remember that for next time we need them.
I knew early on that it was going to
be quite the performance tonight too!It was one of those nights where I was out and in
a few times as the sky changed.
We cleaned up and Bill went upstairs to give an eye to the election results and I stayed down here writing my blog. I’ll find something on tv to watch or I can get lost in my book until bedtime. This has been a warm day reaching 77F/25C dropping to 51F/11C overnight. More wind tomorrow, darn.
The Suite, pretty in pink. Gorgeous! Good night! |
Thank you
for stopping by.
