Fun at the Pool Table

Park Place RV Park

On Monday, Feb. 9th the Richards family were up by 7. It was a good night's sleep for me again so I woke refreshed. I had to close my side window at some point during the wee hours, it felt chilly on my head. We woke up to another clear sky and the promise of a hot day. 😀 Can you say Happy Camper?

Good morning!

Bill left for the field, Gibbs and I went for our walk before 9 and it was a bustling, 'let's run', kind of walk. Enough sniffing! I was at the clubhouse to meet Sue, Bette, Linda and Stephanie for Ladies poker pool.

Looks like a challenge, right?
Zoom in to see how many doggies
are in this picture!! It'll be fun!

We missed Anne-Marie today, but the rest of us had a great time. We made some pretty amazing shots, surprising us each time, during our 7 or 8 games. At noon, we covered the table and parted for lunch. I chose the next puzzle and we decided it would be a tough one. Yup, it will!

Sue and I got the border done

Bill just got home when I returned so we ate together and then I caught up on blogs. Bill did some computer 'stuff', one of which was ordering a diesel additive for Black Beauty, and whatever else. I've put a couple of things in my Amazon cart but want to wait until my Hike shoes arrive before ordering anything else.

I went over to start the new puzzle and was pleased when Sue came out of the office and helped me sort border pieces and turn the others right side up. We worked away until she was interrupted by 'work' and I finished the border and then some before coming home before 4.

It was a lovely day where we
needed the shade.

I took Gibbs for his walk and it was warm/hot so we walked fast to return the cool of the canopy shade. He came in to snooze with Bill and I sat outside and restarted a book I pulled out over a month (2?) ago. Good grief! It could be fun or it could lose my interest part way through. We'll see.

See why it might be
interesting to me?
(Snelgrove Sisters =
Cathy, Audrey, Gayle, Donna, Patsy
just need one more for Wendy.
These ladies have 3 brothers,
family of 8.)

Bill and I agreed on fish for supper. He had fries and I finished the last portion of my keto spaghetti. I see ice cream in our dessert plans too but after dishes and my blog. It all tasted very good and the ice cream cone cooled me off. 😉😉

We enjoyed supper tonight.
Easy prep and tasty.

This has been a good day. I didn't lose at poker pool, although I didn't win, but I did have my usual lot of fun. The week is off to a good start. We'll be 'on duty' tomorrow and off Wednesday, so a bit of a break in our routine. Things are pretty quiet. It was another 84F/26C day here in sunny Quartzsite.

Good night!

Thank you for your visit.
