Things Can Change Just Like That!

I was actually up and out of bed by 7:15 on Saturday, Feb. 28th. That's earlier than my last 3 or 4 or 5 days! I wasn't required to be at the office until 9 but I don't like the 'pre-work' wait time. If we have to be somewhere, I'd rather just go early.

Good morning!

We had breakfast together, Bill had cereal and I had a couple of teaspoons of the yogourt stuff (😏) I get here. If it was actual full fat yogourt like back home, I would be full longer. That's where my creamy tea with coconut oil steps up to the plate.

Another hot day ahead so we closed windows and set the a/c to 75F/23C. Bill and Gibbs went on their park rounds, at which he said the little guy was very good. It's an important task for him, you know! I opened up the clubhouse doors and laptop in the office.

cool it off much.

Fred was reading electric meters this morning so Sue entered those into the system and I helped by stapling the print outs to a new March calendar. It is better to be busy than just sit there and watch her work. The next few days will be busy with guests coming in to make payment.

No arrivals or departures were scheduled for today but that changed around 10:30 when a new reservation came in for a week. They will arrive this afternoon. This is the time of year when rv'ers are starting the trek home so need stopovers.

I actually loved this puzzle!

I worked on the puzzle until noon and after lunch knew that it would be done today. I took some quilling over to work on my St. Patrick's decoration. With the puzzle done, that's exactly what I did. The office was pretty quiet for the rest of the day until 2:15 when our new guests arrived.

Then, at 3:45, it was like the gates opened and 4 more wanted to pay their electric bills. It is nice that they are on top of their debts but why wait until almost closing? Denise, well (enough said) called at 2:30 but had to have a shower, had to eat and walked in at 4. 😟 She's leaving tomorrow so I obliged.

These things happen and just when things seem quiet, everything can change. Kind of like life, right? 😂 We closed up shop soon after and walked back to the cool Suite. It is nice in the clubhouse but outside was like an oven with no breeze. Oh well, it is Quartzsite, Az and almost March.

Oh, I think a pretty sunset is in
order again.

We hit a high of 95F/32C and although 'HOT', not humid. We're quite happy with our choices, one being in a park with a/c! For supper, we used inside appliances to make shrimp and fries. I made some coleslaw for on the side and all was good.

It has been a busy evening since we closed up the office. Three calls with guests on the back row with no power........one other for a reservation for - tonight but would not be here before dark. Fred and Bill were out for an hour trying to fix things with eventual success. 

This was good beer battered shrimp.
None of that breaded stuff.
A nice supper!

This was a good day with another hot one on the way tomorrow. Last day of this short month and our spring month starts tomorrow.
