A Full Day, More Visits, More Fun and Food

On Tuesday, Mar. 17th, St. Patrick's Day arrived in the same, if not stronger heat, than the previous day. Today's forecasted high was 97F/33C after a pleasant 61F/15C overnight. I hopped out of bed around 7 and right into the shower. 

Good morning!

Bill was in no hurry to go to the field, his flying days are over - for now. Yes, FG, we had a plane crash. The following picture may be hard to look at, but think of how the pilot feels. 😔

Somethin' Xtra
is grounded.

I had my tea and Bill did leave our site for a few reasons this morning. One was to go with a few club members to City Hall to donate a check for the Easter Egg Hunt.

The other thing he did was get a haircut. Yes, he was getting a bit scruffy around the ears and he doesn't like that at all. He has a barber in town that does a good job so went and stood in line before returning home with lowered ears. 🤭

Not much different from
yesterday....but a few pieces
fell into place.

Gibbs and I went for our walk, cutting through at the dog park this time. I think he was happy to cut it short too. Back home, I dusted the living room table tops, got the dust mop and dirt Devil vac out and made a clean 'sweep'.

The place was packed!
We were place a table in the
corner near the stage.

I worked on the puzzle with very little success and came home for lunch with Bill. After a sandwich, I brushed Gibbs' teeth. He doesn't exactly 'love' it, but he likes the taste of his toothpaste so allows me to put my finger and his mouth. 😉🐕

The drinks and pizza
were good, as usual.

I had to buy pennies from Stephanie today in order to play Pokeno and then with the help of a 'Penny Fairy' was able to carry on. I sure wasn't winning! Oh well, we had a lot of fun regardless of the losses on my card. Maybe I'll go back to my original one for my last games on Tuesday.

Back at home, Gayle, John and their friends, Mary and Rick joined us at the Suite. Mainly to meet Gibbs. Mary is a real dog lover and no doubt, fell in love with our little mutt. This is the first time we've seen my sister since the fall as they spend the winter in Mexico.

The entertainment was very good

We went to Silly Al's and it was a lot of fun with good food too. The 2-person band (a couple) played well and I thought of my daughter and son-in-law. This is what they should be doing! ❤️ We ate, laughed, and even danced a bit before heading out. 

I'm glad we were able to get
together once more.

The place was packed but we got a table for 6 easy enough. My gluten-free meatlover's pizza was very good and although Bill had to wait toooo long for his, it was very good too.

We said our goodbyes, nice meeting you's and hugs to all before returning to the park.

The sky was pretty when
we came out of the restaurant.

We missed the early episodes of our shows so watched them at 8 MST. This has been a great day!
