That was Too Easy!

 Park Place Rv Park

On Sunday, Mar. 22nd we all slept in. I, along with Bill and Gibbs, didn't open our peepers until 6:30. As soon as Bill moved, so did Gibbs. I guess I did too, I rolled over and faced the fresh air coming in my window. Boy, 66F/17/C felt good. We slept well with windows open.

Good morning!

First things first, was laundry. We walked over before 7 with the basket and filled two machines. Filled is just the word I use, they were far from full, we don't wear many clothes in this heat! Bill drove to the field with his new toy and turns out they had a maiden flight. He's happy - that means I'm happy.

This was to be a partly
cloudy day.

I finished the laundry, folded, worked on the puzzle a bit and returned home to put it away. Then, I hopped in the shower. It was already heating up fast so I didn't even attempt a walk with you know who. With all the windows and blinds closed, he was quite happy inside.

This is how Gibbs keeps cool.
Laying on the floor, in this case,
under my chair.

Daddy leave.

I knew I'd agreed to put my quilling stuff away to open up the back area of the Suite for 'travel packing'. Bill is successfully (heh heh) going to fill the area and my stuff will go in the bedroom. Yes, I did hear the murmurings of a promise - "I won't bring anything back next winter, Dear." 😂

My work space is now dismantled
so now we can pack 'stuff' there.
Wait until you see it in a week.

I was done rather quickly, sorting and packing a couple of 'go' bags so this week I could still do some paper quilling if the mood strikes. Everything else of mine (except one very heavy bag of paper, thanks Kim and Nancy) fit perfectly under the bed. There is no real weight to it, so a good travel spot.

Lunch was a fried egg
and bacon on toasted crusts

I made my coffee and when Bill returned home, we relaxed until 11:30. That was when he got a call from the Arizona Market vendor who is supplying the club with embroidered ball caps. They are ready, she said. By 12:10, he was out the door to drive the 90 minutes to Yuma to get them.

Top picture: before noon but there
was help last night.

after lunch

He also had the crimping tool that had to be returned to Amazon via the UPS store there. Gibbs and I hung around here, I addressed a card for the mail and around 1:30 walked over to work on the puzzle. Sue said it was very quiet in the office so helped me finish it. This was an easy but fun one!

Burgers for supper.

I returned home around 3, just a few minutes before Bill got back. Good timing! For supper, we've decided on Bill's burgers so because of the temperature, I pulled them out of the freezer early so they were partially thawed. Grateful that our bbq is shaded in the afternoon.

The sky turned quite lovely
just after sunset.

We finished them off with the strawberries, grapes and raspberries for dessert. This was another hot day, 103F/35C but we're still here. It was still a good day.

Where we were last year
on this day.
Great memories at
Yuma Lakes RV Park.
Good night!

Thank you for stopping by!

  1. Love the photo of Gibbs and Miss Piggy looking out the window. Nice Bill could fly his new plane.
