Change is Good!

 The Ridge

On Wednesday, Sept. 3rd Bill was up earlier than usual, but turned out it wasn't necessary. He still went to work I got up to clean the Mat. I left earlier than usual, had to use my key to gain entry. No one was doing laundry so I was in and out in 45 minutes.

Good morning!

We were having a nice day again, although windy today. When I got back home, I had lots of time to just sit with Gibbs and do some quilling. Now, that doesn't surprise you, does it? I began using up one of the wood pieces from Dollarama and things went in my favour. I love the result.

Funny story -
Gibbs has a sponge ball that he chews pieces off of.
Spits them out. Pink & white everywhere.
So, I put it in a sock. Today, Bill threw out a
holey sock and I salvaged the good one.
He once more has his ball, Daddy's sock.
What could be better? 💖

At 11:45, I drove Gibbs in to town for his REAL appointment. Kate was ready and waiting with a "Hello handsome". 😍 She wasn't talking to me! I met Bill on Baptist Church Road as we were heading in and that was no surprise. He told me he'd be home by noon-ish.

Okay, time for the sweater to come off.
Let's go see Kate!

When I returned, we had lunch and he had a quick snooze. Said he didn't sleep well at all last night. It sure seems weird without our little shadow at our feet, watching every move. I went back out to the Bunky and he loaded more wood scraps to the dump trailer and took it to Hanover. Totally worth the $10 fee.

I don't think I've shown you
'the holey tree' yet this summer.
Look at those clouds!

Gibbs looks different but still a cute little mutt. He ran around the place feeling the wind blow across his now 'skinny' body. Ha ha, so funny to watch.

He sure looks different, eh?
Love the top right corner pix.
A little man helping me quill.

We did our own thing again for the afternoon and Bill bbq'd his burgers and I cooked the last of the corn for supper. Yummy.

The before and after.
Just an idea, I had.
I like how the bird turned out.

It began raining just as we finished eating and the winds jumped to around 23 mph before dropping right off. It could rain most of the night. It has been a good day here and Gibbs feels a whole lot better, I'm sure. We reached a high of 25C/75F this afternoon and used our solar all day.

A delicious burger, loaded.
Good night!

Thank you for stopping around.

The quilling certainly adds to the plaque. Neat idea!
