Park Place RV Park
On Thursday, Jan. 9th, there were a few things on my schedule. Some were just in my head, but others were planned. So, let's get caught up, since I'm late posting. I was up at 7:00 after a great sleep again. I do like my 8 hours of bed time.

Good morning!
Bill and I were not required to be on hand to help at the park so that was a relief in itself. I took our Arizona chair blankets (the original striped ones we bought in 2017)over to the clubhouse to wash them along with a couple of dining chair covers. It was 7:30 and no one else was around.

Before too long, the clouds moved in.
It was a windy morning, way too windy for flying, so Bill drove over to Jim's hangar instead and worked on taking the motor out of one of his planes. Long story short, he needs to order a new one. I finished with the blankets and stayed at the clubhouse to finish the puzzle.

This was a fun puzzle
I really enjoyed this one. Not too difficult at all until the very last sky pieces but it is a pretty picture. It reminds me that I need to create a new decoration for Robin's new bnb in Nfld. I'm excited about that. She sent me a picture of the lighthouse and it looks similar to the puzzle.
I took Gibbs for his walk and then got dressed for a 'date' with my friend, Erma. 😀 Crap! Should have taken a picture of us together. Next time. She picked me up at 11:30 and drove to the 'new to them' Mountain Quail Cafe for lunch.

Oh my, delicious! Not to mention how nice to have someone cook it for me!
We each enjoyed a breakfast meal and mine was delicious. We both cleaned our plates like good girls so that tells the story right there. I had the Denver omelet with hash browns and rye toast, of which I only ate 2 pieces. They needed more butter but still tasty.
From there, Erma drove us to Tyson Wells where we proceeded to walk through the north side tents until our legs were tired. I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her, we never did that the whole time she and her husband stayed at Park Place.

We picked through this 'junky' place that Bill never likes to peruse and I do. I found new stuff here, my water bottle for one.
I found a few things that caused me to reach into my wallet, great prices and things I've had my eye on. A glass water bottle with its own cuzie for $5 and some more natural bead bracelets for $3 each. The price was excellent on both, such that I couldn't resist.

The water bottle came in this really nice bottle carrier. Perfect for wine gifting......if I ever do that. The bracelets are also new but I'll share a better picture tomorrow.
I did find a pencil sharpener, a bit of a private joke for Sue in the office. She has pencils but I could never find a sharpener.....this one was so cute and I had to get it for her. Erma dropped me at home ..... gee, what time? I can't remember looking at the clock. 🤔

ladybug jiggles his legs,
The afternoon was spent on making a greeting card, just because I need to restock. I'll do more of those while I'm not on call. Neither of us were overly hungry for supper but we had beans on toast just to fill the gap. It was too windy for night flying so I left my boys in front of the tv and went to games night.

When the vendor at the bracelet store saw me carrying my water bottle in my arms, she gave me this lovely little nylon bag, brand new. I will fold it up in my purse for the RV show!
There were 6 of us to play Rumnicub and although Stephanie took the prize for highest score (low score wins), and Sue walked away with the gold, we all had fun. I forced myself to avoid the offered wine, of which there was plenty, and drank my salt water and nibbled on some of Bette's cheese. 😋

When someone was ignored, he decided to help Poppy lose weight. We don't get mad, it's his toy.
I was home at 8:45 and too tired to think about writing. I caught up on Nancy's blog and we are sad to hear that Cooper's vet visit means they are returning home to CA for the time being.
Mr. Cooper, not looking his 17 years at all in this picture.
He is on meds and with her loving care and in his own home, hopefully they can venture out again. Prayers to the little man. 💖

It's hard work keeping this family organized. He slept while I worked on my card and Bill watched a movie.
Prayers also go out to our dear friends, Lori, Roland, Judy and especially Oscar, who is in the hospital back home right now. Thinking of you all at this difficult time. 💞

One done. I wonder if Nella, back home, was able to sell any in her store yet?
It will be a cold, dare I say COLD, few nights, dropping to 44F/6C Thursday night and lower for the next 4 nights. We'll have our blue flame heater on through those evenings for sure. Daytime got to 65F/15C today, 59F/12C tomorrow and then a warm up again.

Let the good times roll! We do have fun.
I hope you are all coping well with your weather, not much else to do but roll with the punches. Last but certainly not least, Happy Birthday to our second youngest granddaughter, Hadley Rose.
