Park Place RV Park
On Tuesday, Jan. 13th I woke at 6:30 with the easy, peaceful feeling that I had no where to be and no time to be 'there'. No walk, no laundry, nothing until after lunch. 😀 So, I just remained in bed until almost 7:30, dozing off with Gibbs.

Good morning!
Who wouldn't want to wake up to this?
After face washes, hugs and cuddles, I did my stretches and got up. Bill was getting ready for flying, we are on call tomorrow so he didn't want to miss it. He did go first and get propane and our water bottle filled before he left. Looking after the 'home' front first. 💗
I sat with Gibbs after a half grapefruit, I'm really enjoying them, and was having my tea. We went for a nice walk around the park perimeter and it was already warming up by then. The sun was brilliant against the stark blue sky. No complaints here!

Now the birdies have beaks
and wings. One is not flapping his.
ðŸ¤I ran out of that colour.
I did one small touch up on the whale and added beaks and wings to the birds on my greeting card. Did you even notice that they were missing? Ha ha. I forgot them originially. They are happier now. I'm pleased with how the Newfoundland decoration turned out.
For a couple of hours, I went to start a new puzzle. This one is the quilt one from Nancy. I'm not sure if we'll see her now so figured I'd start on it. It looks like a fun one. I made pretty good progress before I walked back for lunch with Bill.

| A memory on Facebook today. Bill and I at Borrego Springs, CA in early 2017 That was our first year down here, |
I wasn't overly hungry, could have probably skipped it altogether but ate a couple of pieces of toast instead. At a few minutes before 1 pm, I walked over with my penny jar to play Pokeno. We started with 6 of us and 2 more joined at 2. Fun! I managed to stay par, not losing anything.

The mountains to the east of us

in the west,
When we parted ways, I stayed with Renee and worked on the puzzle. She is an 'outside the box' kind of puzzler and just gathered pieces around the edges. I need to work 'in the box' attaching to the sides. It all makes more sense to me that way. It is a good start.
Back home at 4, I used Mod Podge on my last pieces and sent pictures out to Robin and Linda. She was unable to make it to our game and she wanted to see how the whale turned out after her suggestions. She was quite pleased but Robin's reaction was hilarious! "Frickin' AMAZING"

I just love that girl! She is a paying customer so those are exactly the reactions a hobbyist wants to receive. It will get wrapped up safely until we get home. I have another project from her for Manitoba so will start on that in a few days.

With no clouds at first peek,
Bill drew my attention to this.
Wow!
Sue has asked if I can do something with a framed picture in the clubhouse. It has given me a challenge and has me thinking about it. Details to follow another day. We had Bill's Burgers, you know the kind, for supper and again......well, 'frickin awesome!' 😂

| Before the squishing and cramming, my wonderful burger! |
After my blog, I watched some tv. Last night, I re-watched the movie Arthur the King. A fun, touching story about a mutt. This has been a great day. Fun with friends and my own two sweeties. We reached a high of 75F/22C and more warmth on the way.
Thank you for stopping around.

Hmmm I think I remember meeting someone at Borrego Springs in 2017!! LOL We still laugh about that!!!!
