Laundry Day Again

It was 7:20 on Sunday, Jan. 11th when I woke from a number of dreams. All good ones, as far as I can remember. 🤭 Gibbs was quite available with a face wash again and Bill was ready to start sorting laundry. I was up until after 10:30 last night, my excuse.

Good morning!

With two loads in the machines, Bill finished getting ready to go flying. I kept an eye on it and everything was dry, folded and put away by 9:30. There will be another ukelele jam this afternoon so no point in me even starting a new puzzle yet.

I sat and quilled for a while, using a few suggestions from some of you. Thank you! I stopped at 10:30 and took Gibbs for his walk and when Bill got home at noon, stopped again to have toasted blt's for lunch. Buying a couple of tomatoes yesterday was a good idea.

It is a full sun day but there is enough wind to make it chilly unless you are dressed for it. A hoody and wind breaker was in order for our walk. Each day promises to be a bit warmer which is great with the big Tent & RV Show starting this weekend. It is fun to go and get lost in the crowds. As least, we like it.

The rest of the day was spent on the cards and I started Robin's Newfoundland decoration. It went really well until I got to the whale addition. I'm not happy with that part so it has caused a dilemna. The lighthouse is great! Hmmm, still thinking.

Bill took Gibbs for a walk and for supper, we had fish and chips and cauliflower rice for me. Gibbs had fish with his food too. Healthy for all of us. We cleaned up the dishes and watched Reacher reruns. It has replaced NCIS for me when I need a fill in show with reruns. 😂

We didn't get past 66F/17C but it was pretty nice. Still a 10 to 15 mph wind, which kept it from being too warm, and a rise in temps tomorrow too. Tonight will be only 39F/3C so we'll leave the Blue Flame heater on again.
