Almost to a Halt

Park Place RV Park

I slept really well last night, not stirring until I heard Bill whispering to Gibbs. Asking him if he was warm enough and did he have a good sleep. I'm sure the little guy understood every word. 🤭

Good morning.
Some clouds that by 10 covered the sky.
Do we unplug or not?

It was 7 when I came down to have my banana and cream and cup of tea. Bill and Gibbs went on the cart around the park and reported back on the 4 who were packing up. It was nice that they pulled out before 11 and I was able to 'check them out' on the system. Bill rakes the sites when they leave.

A bit of a rest before we go.
I had a blog to finish from yesterday.

I finished the puzzle this morning before lunch and started work on Robin's pelican plaque. She chose the square design so that will be easy enough.

I offered these choices to
Robin for her Manitoba pelican.

With only a couple of phone calls to field and one new reservation, it was evidence of a true slow down. Such a change from last Friday!

I was able to finish the beautiful puzzle
early.

I've done so many of these,
it might be time to swap
some out. Hmmm.

We were home after 4 and I offered to take Gibbs for his walk today. Because there were a couple of other dogs on our route, I chose a different way. We got about 30' and he made a dead stop. No way was he moving. I thought it was because he was used to his Daddy taking him. Maybe the route change?

The last of my Amazon order
was delivered to our site today.
Ink and sponges for applying.
Kim would be proud!

So, Bill took him and off they went on the familiar path. The little bum! See if I offer again! 🤣 We each opted to have a drink tonight and my Caesar was delicious. We'd planned burgers for supper b
ut we waited until 5:30 to start.

The pie turned out looking
pretty good.

Tomorrow is a Baked Potato Potluck and I volunteered to make a pie. There was time to get it ready before we ate and with thawed Ridge apples from the freezer, had it made in good time so it could bake while we ate. Bill's burgers were, well, you know. Delicious. Gibbs even got a taste.

Before supper, this was the sky.

After the small bit of cleanup, I worked on my blog and then will watch some tv. During the barbecuing, Bill's youngest daughter called and updated us on her situation out west. Fingers crossed and prayers that things work out in her favour.

The burger was great
and so was the treat from the
leftover pie dough.

This was a pleasant day. 73F/20C was our high and the skies actually cleared out by early afternoon. I hope you are staying warm where you are, even if it means you have to be inside. Thinking of everyone in your frigid and/or snowy winter.

After we ate, we got this.
Good night!

Thank you for stopping by.
