Park Place RV Park
On Tuesday, Jan. 6th I was up and moving before 7. I was slept out, I guess. I made my tea and enjoyed it at home before going to the clubhouse. Since it is so busy in January with bookings for the time period of the RV Tent Show, I was helping out in the office. Between cancelations and new reservations, it gets a bit hectic.
Bill and Gibbs were helping too and did the rounds of the park and made sure things were all in order. Fred was off for a ride today so was not available. I opened the puzzle box yesterday but didn't even get a chance to sort, turn the pieces over to start the border.

Pictures of the Suite, like this,
makes it look clean.
It isn't, by far!
But the sky is pretty!
It was fairly quiet in the morning, so I had a good jump start at it today. After lunch, only 4 of us girls were able to meet for Pokeno. With many interruptions, I managed to win the Blackout in both sets of games! Yay, my penny jar is about 3/4 full.

4 stages of the puzzle
this is before lunch
These are between 3 and 4:30
when I finally walked away.
I like it.
I finished rolling quarters from the laundry machines and after 4, when the office closed, I remained and worked more on the puzzle. This one seems to be going pretty quickly.

| Seeing these clouds when I left the clubhouse, I knew we'd have another pretty sunset sky. |
Bill had taken Gibbs for his walk so I sat and played my word games.

Poppy the Penguin is still in one piece.
There might be a few tufts of fibrefill
out of him, but this is 'love'.
I wanted to show you Gibbs'
last yak cheese bone.
Just in time for the show where
I can buy more. 10 last
him a whole year.
He loves them and chews on them
for hours.
Bill deep fried his fries (imagine that!) and I fried fish and cooked some cauliflower rice for supper. Ooh, it didn't look so great, bland colours, so I added red tomatoes and green pickles. It tasted very good, this is nice white fish. Even Gibbs liked his little bits.

Supper was good.
Cauliflower rice and fish.
The fish always looks great
in a solid piece before I cook it. LOL
Works for me!
We cleaned up dishes and settled in for the night. Nothing special on tv, new seasons haven't started, so we just watched reruns and/or movies.

I ran outside for this one.
Stunning!
This was a great day. We reached a high of 70F/19C under mostly cloudy skies. We're dropping down again, into AZ winter temperatures for a few days.

| This one was taken out of our west-facing window again. Good night! |
Thank you so much for stopping by.

Things are definitely ramping up for the tent show.
ReplyDeleteYes, they are!
DeleteThe sunset last night here, too, was gorgeous! My door faces west and I keep it open in the evening just so I can keep an eye on the sky. :p
ReplyDeleteI picked up a 750 piece puzzle yesterday at the thrift store. What would take you a couple of days to finish will take me at least a week. I haven't started it yet, as I need to clean out my shed of items for the garage sale. Off to start that now!
That's a great way to be facing. We have an rv to the east so I have to go to get the sunrises and trailers to our west, so same thing. 😉
DeleteHave fun with the puzzle! I'm lobing this one, it's an easy one for a change. Just in time to finish before Nancy comes and we work on her quilt puzzle. Teehee.
Lovely pictures as usual. So glad to see that Gibbs is still loving on his Poppy.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Thank you Jackie.
