Park Place RV Park
On Sunday, Feb. 1st we welcome the new month by helping out the managers today. Duty calls and all that. I knew it would be busy with electric bills due. Sue was busy yesterday getting meters read and bills printed out. All I had to do was collect the money.

Sometimes, you just need to prance!
It is never predictable in a park office, I guess. We were expecting 2 arrivals and neither of those showed up for one reason or another. But! We had 2 drop-ins that did not have reservations. You just never know. Oh well, all in a day!

So, how many of you puzzlers have been able to do this when putting a puzzle away? Don't worry, it got broke up properly when I put it in the box. (sorry, Nancy!)
It's a short month so this will be a short post. I put the puzzle away and pulled out a new one. Picture tomorrow. There were Ukelele players jamming in the afternoon so I stayed out of the way and crocheted 4 new Worry Worms. They may be 'saleable' this summer too. Picture tomorrow for those too.

It was a lovely start
to the evening.
Bill and I waited until 6 pm MT for the 'sure thing' and they never arrived before dark. No parking after dark here.

Okay, okay. I draw designs with my ketchup and mustard. The burger was messy and delicious. (& uninterrupted)
We came home and grilled burgers, keeping an eye long enough to get supper into us. Still a no show so I closed things down on the laptop and called it a night.

This was a wonderful surprise
when I peeked out after eating.

The palm trees made this a
pretty picture too.
This was a lovely, warm day. We reached a high of 81F/26C with clear skies until just before sundown. The sun put on a performance as it dipped below the mountains. Just in time for the Snow Moon to pop up in the east. Gorgeous and huge!

They never turn out as I hope,
but this at least shows how big it was.
Good night!
I hope you all had a great day. Sorry for the lack of pictures but thank you for stopping by!

NOOOOO .... you have to leave those puzzles together for people like me who can't find the right pieces!! LOL
ReplyDelete🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
DeleteI get that sometimes things come up, but surely these folks could call or text or email if they know they are going to be delayed. I'd be very annoyed and have a list of people who no-show for future reference. (Petty, I know).
ReplyDeleteI'll have to get out tonight to see if I can get a photo of the moon. I had my blinds closed on that side and didn't realize!
It is truly frustrating. They are mostly very nice people and maybe think after hours that if the office is closed, they don't need to bother.
DeleteTurns out, they have a valid reason.
That is a lovely full moon. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Thank you Jackie.
DeleteGreat sunrise shots!
ReplyDeleteThank you F.G.!
