The Ridge
On Friday, Oct. 3rd we were both up and on our way to jobs by 7. I only had one customer come in while I was cleaning. I had taken our duvet cover, couch covers, a sheet set and blanket from the sofa bed, plus our two pillow shams off our bed in to be washed.

Good morning!
It's a bedding drying day!
I hung them on the line, another be-oo-t-ful day for drying out there! Calling for 25C/77F but feeling warmer than that. Summer has returned, temporarily, and no complaints here. M needed a run into the grocery store and drug store so we did that at 10.

Fresh and clean for
the next person. 😉
I had a breakfast quesadilla for lunch, and it actually turned out great, and then I went to the Bunky. With no word about a part table at the Harvest show, I began packing up my quilling supplies. Yes, I guess that means I'm done - for now.
With that done, I decided to forgo taking any paints at all. Why? I asked myself. I have markers if I want to 'paint' rocks, but I have other crafty things, besides quilling, without taking the extra weight. Pat has obliged me by offering to take the paints for storage since they can't stay here. 💕 Thanks Buddy.

Just before this picture,
he was down the hill rolling
in the grass.
Love the floppy ears as he runs.
I was just finishing up with that, pleased that my 3 containers fit under the bed quite nicely. Oops! I forgot a bag but it can sit in the open space we now have at the back of the Suite. Bill will also be able to use some of that space for RC stuff. I brought my roll up table inside to test it out too.

I wonder if Goat is as happy
as Gibbs in this picture.
He's lost a lot of weight over the
last two days.
I hope he is feeling LOVED. 💖
Since we were going to C the A before 6, I cooked the ground beef for tacos. We didn't win but had a good time. I play the theme song for Mr. Dressup to add to Ron's 'skit' and Nella records the whole thing on video. It's a good time with a lot of laughs.
On the way home, we stopped at Robin's market shed and put a couple of items out for pick up tomorrow. She's selling even when she isn't at home! 😉

You can't tell by my lousy
picture, but soon we'll have a
full moon.
When we returned to our home, it was easy to warm up the meat and our taco shells for supper. Yummy, I love them!

I love our tacos.
It was 8 when we finished eating,
so I chose to watch tv instead of blog.
Good night!
This was a great day! Another hot one tomorrow. Thank you for stopping by.

Sounds like your preparations to head south are starting in earnest. Sorry to hear the market didn't work out for this fall, but hopefully you'll have a chance next spring.
ReplyDeleteThank you, we are slow but sure. The market will be that much more fun in the spring, I'll have more product!
DeleteAll of us are preparing for winter in various ways. You are getting a good start on your preparations to go south.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Yes, different ways for different reasons. All good!
DeleteThank you Jackie.
Well goat didn't last long at ALL!! On the other hand, Mr. Gibbs teeth are probably really clean ... and sharper!!
ReplyDeleteAmazing weather we're having!
