It Comes and Goes, Neighbours Return

Park Place RV Park

On Monday, Jan. 26th Bill was up at 6 and at 7 he went down the road to get our 2 water bottles filled.  No line ups! I was just getting myself out of bed.

Good morning!
I love these clouds to the east.

At 6, when they went out, I grabbed a cold face cloth for my head and tried to go back to sleep and not think about the headache.  I also had to cut my tv watching short last night because it was nagging again. 🤕

When I got up at 7, I was much improved. I had some cereal this morning and took Gibbs for a walk at 8:30 when my tea was done. At 9:15 I joined 3 ladies for poker pool.  A small group today.

And then I saw the competition
to the west.

Sue was at an appt. with Fred, Anne Marie was not feeling well with a cold, and Stephanie was a no show.  Bette, Linda, Angie and I made the best of our 6 games with Linda pulling out all the stops and walking away a winner with only 2 (TWO) points!

Gibbs loves his toys
and is so proud to show us at
every opportunity.

I came home with the headache again, not surprising with a lot of chatter, so had a yummy bowl of broccoli cheddar soup. I took some Advil and went upstairs for a 45 minute snooze. That worked again, temporarily. It's very strange, we can't truly know why all of a sudden.

Trumpet vine for your viewing
pleasure. Such delicate perfectly
formed flowers.

I finished the pelican craft for Robin and like how it turned out. Bette suggested a bright flower for the picture with the bird in the clubhouse, so I made one to take over in the morning. I agree with her that it will spruce it up nicely.

Her response was as expected.
She loves him.

Trying to get a routine going and improve my bike balance, I hopped on Lila for the run to the corner. I have 6 days to test her out proper. I really want to keep her, since I named her. 😉

My legs were tired but
it was a decent jaunt.

These sausages are quite
tasty.

Bill grilled sausages for supper and we cleaned up the last 2 buns. All in good time too, they were showing signs.

Keeping an eye on the clouds that
moved in for the sunset.
Gorgeous!

I worked on my blog, feeling good about tomorrow being Tuesday. A morning with no timed events. 😂 Geesh! I am getting old!

And sometimes, the east sky
is just as beautiful.

This was a good day and I'm hoping the headaches are just a phase. I hope you've enjoyed your day wherever you are. It was another 70F/19C day, dropping to only 39F/3.5C overnight. Brrr. We have neighbours back again....welcome Tom and Deb!
