Park Place RV Park
On Friday, Dec. 13th I was up with my boys by 7 am. It is amazing how much a few degrees in temperature makes, and this morning it was a pleasant increase of about 5°since Wednesday morning. So! For me, that meant just long sleeves, my fleece jacket, poufy vest and gloves. I was toasty! 😊
When I
got home, I had a blog to finish so when Bill and Duncan left for the field, I
made my tea and got at it. I took many pictures yesterday but didn’t want to
leave too many out. I take them because I like the subject so to discard or
ignore them just doesn’t feel right to me. I managed to finish around 9:30, and
took Gibbs for his walk before walking over to the puzzle.
Walking along Quail Trail, it is easy to see that
December brought in a lot of rv'ers to our sister park.
I posted a picture a month ago along here and
it was quite empty.
Once
more, it was on the back burner. That’s okay since it means I am otherwise
enjoying myself. I didn’t get into my book this morning at all although I
thought I might. The puzzle interested me more. I returned home at noon and
Bill and I had our ham, cheese and lettuce sandwiches for lunch. We planned
supper. My leftover ‘chili size’ (that’s what she called it) and Bill will have
a burger or pork and beans. 😊
Patty and I went for a walk
around the big block after lunch.
Yesterday, I had 11,400 but today's
9,300 was quite good too. Then I worked on the puzzle until Happy Hour.
I went
back to the puzzle until 3 when our friend, Ken, came in from their blm spot to
have Happy Hour with us. Kim is away with their granddaughter for a few days so
he is ‘batching’ it. We had a good visit, as always, for a couple of hours or
more before it cooled off enough to send us to our respective homes. I took
Gibbs for his afternoon walk and he snagged a couple of ‘pets’ for being so
darned cute.
The moon rises in the east as the sun sets
in the west.
Clouds moved in this afternoon late.Just in time to give us a gorgeous
sunset.
Bill
decided on wieners and beans and I reheated my leftovers from the Casino
restaurant. All choices were yummy. Patty brought us over some corn bread at
noon so we enjoyed the last piece along with our meals. It was delicious!
Tomorrow, in the park (if you remember my sign from a previous post) is yard
sale day. If you have stuff to sell, you can put it out at your site and hope
someone is interested enough to give you a few bucks for it.
This site is very decorated for Christmas.
I may have posted a pix before.
I hadn’t
decided what I had to sell but after supper, found a few items. I have a few
Avon things from my days of selling, that I will never use. Bill watched a
movie and I dug into my blog. Not much news today but I try to put something
down. This has been a good day. Relaxing in its own way, which is never a bad
thing. We had a high of 69F/21C today with a bit of a breeze under a sunny sky.
I received a package today meaning that a couple more Christmas gifts have been
crossed off the list. ♥
Supper was easy and good!
Good night!
Thank you
for your visit.
Nice that you are still enjoying the warmth of the Southwest, which was Triple our's.
