So, I Took a Class!

Park Place RV Park

On Wednesday, Dec. 4th, I was up by 7, washed, dressed and out the door for my walk. It was another lovely, although brisk, morning of 46F/7C. Just a light breeze though on my return trip that was in my face but by then I was warmed up anyway. I was out the door at 7:05, home by 7:30 so the sun had not yet risen. It was another 15 minutes before it popped up over the mountains. 😊

Good morning!

This is almost as pretty as after the 'pop'
Snuggled together in large sites.
Us, Duncan & Patty, Irma & Walt

I had my tea back home, took Gibbs for his normal, around the park walk and then walked over to Coffee Hour at the clubhouse. Today, Sue made us a delicious apple snack cake. Yum. There were 7 of us today who joined together. When Jess and I finished our coffee and snack, around 9:30, we headed out for her class at the Desert Camel venue on I-95N. Jess drove so I got a treat, riding with the teacher!

Before Coffee Hour, Gibbs and I walked.
The bunny rabbit was almost taunting him
but look at that little fluffy tail! Do they know how cute they are?

The tree in the clubhouse.

Today, we made a greeting card by Paper Quilling. There were 4 of us attending today and that was enough. Jess was so patient with those of us with fumble fingers and we soon got the hang of it.

Jess is a good teacher.

She was on hand to assist when time was running out so we could finish by noon. 😊 It was 12:45 when Jess dropped me off at home and I showed Bill what I made. I enjoyed the class and I’m proud of my pinwheel card.

It's not perfect but it's mine.
I had to re-attach the stem so it ended
up looking a bit better than this.

Bill had already eaten by then so I warmed up two pieces of my leftover pizza in Rosy and enjoyed them. I have two left for another lunch meal.

Silly Al's leftovers are still delish

It was around 2 when I walked over to the puzzle to see what I could accomplish there. The clubhouse looks really nice with the tree all decorated and tables with Christmas dΓ©cor on them. Bette did a great job, even the ramp railing outside was lit up and she was adding a garland when I returned home at 3:30 for Happy Hour.

Getting there!

I made a Caesar today
and it was g-g-good!

The 4 of us enjoyed our time in the gazebo until 5:15 when we all began preparing our meals for supper. I took Gibbs for a quick walk but it wasn’t enough to add up my steps to today’s goal of 6,000. I am about 400 shy. 😊

Gibbs admires Bette's handiwork
on the railing.

Supper was grilled bacon and cheeseburgers, loaded of course and they were good. Bill had a hunger for fries so deep fried those outside while he grilled. 3 or 4 fell onto my plate (because they looked so yummy!), not sure how that happened.

Yummy burgers.

It was all very good and after clean up, I finished today’s post. It was a wonderful day and I stepped out of the norm even further and took part in a friend’s hobby. Before I left the craft store, I found 3 stamped backgrounds for needlepoint/cross stitching and some small bunches of wool. I spent a whole $4.60! I’ve only done counted cross-stitch so I will enjoy this a lot at the age I am now.

No sunset photo but pink topped
mountains to the east instead.

We reached a lovely high of 76F/24C under full sunny skies today and more of the same for a few days. Lovin’ this Arizona weather!

Let's go back in time to Dec. 4th, 2018
Rob and Bill hiking in front of me at
Lone Tree Hill, Lake Havasu blm.
Seems like ages ago, we miss him and Pat.
Good night!

Thank you for the stop in!

    1. Thanks Deb. I've been thinking I could easily do it at home, I just need a couple of things and the paper of course.

  6. I agree with Shirley about the pizza. Last year the toppings didn't go all the way to the top. The pizza this year....I'm jealous. Cute bunny. You did good with the card. Irma and Walt's motorhome sort of looks like ours.

  8. I have seen more and more people getting into quilling lately. Your card is lovely. You did an excellent job of it.

I will definitely say that bush bunnies as we call them here (jackrabbits turn white in the winter) know exactly how cute they are.

    God bless.
