Park Place RV Park
Bill was up with Gibbs around 6:30 and with very little encouragement, they went out for Gibbs’ morning constitution and Daddy walk. When Gibbs joined me back in bed, we stayed there, dozing, until 7. Bill had his last club meeting at Jim’s hangar this morning so left around 8:30. I knew it was coffee hour at the clubhouse so didn’t rush over to work on the puzzle.
Gibbs and I got out for our walk
this morningNow, do you think he is having
mischievous thoughts?
He's waiting for Daddy to share the cheese.
Gibbs and
I sat in the gazebo until I heard the gatherers outside around 10:15 and then
walked over. 😊 I worked away until noon hour and
returned for lunch. I finished the asparagus soup with some cheddar on the side
and know that my next batch needs to be strained better. It had a good taste
but needs improvement.
Top picture is how I left it at noon
bottom shows how we left it at 4 pm
the drive to Bouse was very pretty Even Gibbs enjoyed the scenery |
Interesting story on this historic marker I walked back to look at the swimming pool |
I love how the mountains have the initials on them On the right hand roof of this Saloon, see the Saguaro growing through the building? |
An interesting spot to stop for some pictures |
It was a very nice drive and we stopped in Bouse to get a few pictures of a few things.
We came home through Brenda and this building caught my eye I'd love a tour! |
We
were back home around 3 so I went back to the puzzle and worked with Adele and
Robert until 4:15. It’s coming along nicely and should be done tomorrow after
poker pool. For supper, we had rice, beans and barbecued sausages. It was good
and was topped off with a piece of pie. Bill had cherry and I had pumpkin. 😊
This was a great day, warming up to 73F/23C and even warmer for the days ahead. Yay!
Gibbs settled down nicely on the way home Good night! |
Thank you for the visit!
The Bouse are is beautiful with lots of history. I too, took a picture of the Kofa Cafe. It just looks historic. The tales those walls could tell.
ReplyDeleteI know, that is a pretty area. Love that cafe.
DeleteWhat an interesting place to visit. A friend had an abandoned foundation on their property, repaired it and use it for a swimming pool as well.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
That's cool!
DeleteLooks like a great place for a quilt store!! LOL. I love reading about the history of places like that. Imagine ... a swimming pool!!
ReplyDeleteI thought the same thing!
DeleteThe look on Gibbs' face waiting for his cheese is hilarious. What an interesting drive. A shame that the house was razed - I'm thinking it would have been a good place to explore.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy that weather and send it my way - we're in for more snow!
Stay warm, hope the snow is minimal.
DeleteA very nice area, I hope you enjoyed the drive.
