Skipping Out

Park Place RV Park

On Monday, Feb. 20th, I stayed in bed until 8. It was a night with both of us, well, all 3 of us, being awake more often than usual. I had my side window open the whole night and often Gibbs would crawl up there to get some fresh air. He was as hot as I was through the night.

At 7:30 Bill asked if I was going to fitness class. My short answer was ‘no’. He got up and headed out for the field by 8:30. He was definitely past this bug, whatever it is. Still not sure what all was affecting me, I sat with Gibbs for a while and at 9 made a cup of tea. Two mouthfuls and that told me I couldn’t drink it. It also pushed me to walk out when I saw Patti and let her know that I wouldn’t be at Poker Pool.

I hate missing it, but no way could I participate nor did I want to share what I had. The rest of the day for me was sleep, rest, relax and more sleep. I sat outside in the gazebo for about an hour and before Gibbs joined me, I slept in big cub chair. It is such a gorgeous day, 75F/24C, that I hated to miss it. Poor Gibbs didn’t get out for a walk until Daddy took him out around 4:30.

Feb. 20, 2019
we really pigged out at
Olive Garden in Yuma
with Lori and Roland

For supper, I suggested chicken soup. I had a crust of bread with cheese while Bill had crackers and cheese alongside. First thing I’d eaten all day so I took it slow. Because of how I felt, no pictures were taken. Sorry about that. We spent the evening watching recorded programs and slowly, with food in my stomach, I felt better by bedtime. Fingers crossed for tomorrow.

Tonight's necessary supper looks
a whole lot different
Good night
Thank you for popping by.
